Saints' preseason schedule announced

The New Orleans Saints' preseason opponents have been set, though specific dates and times are still to come.

The Saints will open with a road game at the St. Louis Rams, followed by a home date with the Tennessee Titans, a nationally-televised road game at the Indianapolis Colts and a home game against the Baltimore Ravens.

The Colts' game is obviously the juiciest matchup since it features two playoff teams with premier quarterbacks in New Orleans' Drew Brees and Indianapolis' Andrew Luck. And Week 3 of the preseason is when teams typically play their starters the longest.

The opener at St. Louis is also intriguing since the Saints will face their former defensive coordinator Gregg Williams for the first time since he left two years ago.

The NFL is expected to release the regular-season schedule later this month.
