Rolle second-team All-Pro

By Matt Ehalt

This might make Antrel Rolle feel a little bit better about being snubbed by the Pro Bowl.

The Giants safety was named second-team All-Pro on Friday, as voted by 50 members of the media. Rolle is the only Giant to make the squad.

The first-team safeties are Seattle's Earl Thomas and Kansas City's Eric Berry.

The second-team includes Rolle, San Diego's Eric Weddle, Seattle's Kam Chancellor, Buffalo's Jairus Byrd, Cleveland's T.J. Ward and New England's Devin McCourty.

Rolle was voted a second alternate at strong safety for the Pro Bowl, which did not sit well with him. He tweeted: "Tell me which safety has better numbers and made more game changing plays than me this year???? I'll wait!!!! This probowl [expletive] is a joke."

Monday, as the Giants cleaned out their lockers, Rolle reiterated he wasn't pleased that he didn't earn a starting spot in the Pro Bowl.

"To be honest with you, did I get screwed? Absolutely," Rolle said. "I don't make that call. Numbers don't lie. You put on the film, the film don't lie. You go to play another team and the coaches come up to you and say you had a phenomenal season, the players come up to you and say, 'Man, you got snubbed, you had a phenomenal season.' It is what it is. I'll take it. The only thing it's going to do is make me come back next year even more better."
