There were no surprises on the Jets' injury report, released Wednesday. As expected, WR/PR Jeremy Kerley (concussion) was ruled out. To replace him, the Jets re-signed Ben Obomanu, cut in the preseason, but Kerley's absence could mean bigger roles for Clyde Gates and rookie Ryan Spadola. It looks like Kyle Wilson will replace Kerley as the primary punt returner.
Otherwise, the Jets are in relative good shape as they prepare to face the Patriots on Thursday night in Foxborough, Mass. The Patriots probably will be without WR Danny Amendola (groin) and TE Rob Gronkowski (back), both of whom are doubtful.
