Well-traveled rookie Miguel Maysonet, a record-setting running back at Stony Brook (N.Y.), signed Tuesday to the New York Jets practice squad.

This will be Maysonet's fifth team in five months. At the conclusion of the NFL draft, he signed as an undrafted free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles. He was cut two weeks later, going to the Cleveland Browns, Indianapolis Colts and San Diego Chargers. He was on the practice squads of the Colts and Chargers; he's never been on a 53-man roster.

Maysonet was the first Stony Brook player invited to the NFL scouting combine. He rushed for more than 1,900 yards last season. ESPNNewYork.com tracked him in the months leading up to the draft in a series of profiles.
