CORTLAND, N.Y. -- Geno Smith is the New York Jets' starting quarterback. On paper, anyway.

On Monday, the team released its first official depth chart, with Smith listed ahead of Michael Vick at quarterback. That is not a surprise, as Smith has taken nearly 80 percent of the first-team reps in practice.

Other depth-chart notes: Chris Johnson, Chris Ivory and Bilal Powell are all listed as starting running backs. ... Eric Decker and Jeremy Kerley are the starting wide receivers, with Stephen Hill and David Nelson on the second team. ... Willie Colon and Brian Winters are the starting guards. ... Dawan Landry and Antonio Allen are the starting safeties, ahead of rookie Calvin Pryor and Jaiquawn Jarrett. ... Only one rookie is listed in a starting position -- Jalen Saunders at punt returner. Jacoby Ford is the No. 1 kickoff returner.
