ESPN NFL analyst Damien Woody discusses how the addition of Bilal Powell and Khiry Robinson to accompany newly-signed Matt Forte will affect the dynamics of the Jets backfield. (1:42)

Matt Forte officially became a member of the New York Jets on Thursday, and he marked the occasion with a late-night/early-morning social-media post that expressed his gratitude. The former Chicago Bears star also shared his rather lofty expectations.

"I hope to bring a championship home as well as a rushing title Like one of your greats, Curtis Martin," Forte wrote on his Instagram account.

Actually, the Martin comparison is interesting. In 2004, he won the NFL rushing title (1,697 yards) at the age of 31. It was a remarkable accomplishment, one that probably secured his place in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Forte turned 30 in December.
