Mike Lee is one to watch

Mike Lee is a light heavyweight who will fight his eighth pro fight on Saturday night at Madison Square Garden. I suggest you put him on your watch list, and pay a bit of extra attention to his progression, because I think he could be a good one. The Chicago native, age 24, worked out at Kingsway Gym in Manhattan yesterday, and showed a ear-to-ear grin when he talked about his Saturday fight. The kid clearly loves what he's doing. You can see a bit of his personality in a Subway commercial from this year in which Lee touted the new oven crisp chicken sandwich.

He's a 2009 Notre Dame grad, who obtained a finance degree, and has the sort of composure, and humility, and drive that makes you think by the start of 2013, we should see him challenging for a crown.
