Broadway Boxing to benefit Sandy victims
By Michael Woods
Will "Power" Rosinsky (16-2, 9KOs) of Queens will headline a Dec. 19 "Broadway Boxing" card at Roseland, with a portion of the proceeds from the Lou DiBella show going to aid victim hit by Sandy.
One of the sports' most fearsome bangers, Californian Ivan Redkach (12-0, 11 KOs) and Brooklyn's Gabriel "Tito" Bracero (20-1, 3 KOs), who is chomping at the bit for a career-defining scrap, will also be on the card.
"We are going to close our 2012 Broadway Boxing season with one of our strongest cards of the year," DiBella said. "In addition to the great card, we will also be raising money for Hurricane Sandy relief and there will be a silent auction including memorabilia from my own personal collection. Please join us not only for our traditional holiday season beatings card, but more importantly to raise money and awareness for those suffering so badly as a result of Hurricane Sandy."
Tickets are currently on sale and can be purchased through Ticketmaster by calling (800) 745-3000, or by calling the DiBella Entertainment office at (212) 947-2577. Tickets are priced at $125, $85, $65 and $45. Doors open at 6 p.m. ET with the first bout scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.
