DiBella liked Dulorme's work

By Michael Woods

Promoter Lou DiBella checked in with NYFightblog after his Thursday show at Roseland, which was topped by Puerto Rican prospect Thomas Dulorme. Dulorme, a 23-year-old welterweight, KO'd Eddie Brooks in round one of their tussle.

"This was an important fight for Dulorme, who didn't show any ill effects from the knockout loss he suffered against Luis Abregu in October," DiBella said. "He moved down in weight, fighting at a catchweight of 143 pounds and looked much stronger. He's working his way down to make 140 pounds, to compete in the junior welterweight division."

DiBella also gave young bomber Ivan Redkach a thumbs up. "Redkach's first-round TKO victory over Sergio Rivera was impressive and he showed why he was on ESPN's 'Prospect of the Year' list.

"All three of the young guns that I recently signed, Travis Peterkin (TKO3), Patrick Day (TKO1) and Louis Cruz (KO3) looked strong."
