A couple of Nets free agent notes Wednesday night:

• Free-agent Kyle Korver agreed to a four-year, $24 million contract to remain with the Atlanta Hawks, sources told ESPN.com's Marc Stein. The Nets were after Korver, but could only offer him their mini mid-level exception (three years, $9.6 million).

Korver also received interest from the Milwaukee Bucks and San Antonio Spurs, sources told Stein. For the full story click here.

The Nets are still in the market for a backup forward who can play behind Paul Pierce, and perhaps Joe Johnson as well.

Other options that could conceivably be in their price range? Yahoo! Sports reports the Nets have interest in Matt Barnes and Antawn Jamison.

Just speculation, but wouldn't Carlos Delfino also make some sense? Then there's Bojan Bogdanovic, though it appears that GM Billy King wants a veteran with his team in win-now mode. Marco Belinelli's name was put out there as a possibility as well, but an Italian journalist reported Belinelli may end up joining the Indiana Pacers.

• The Nets one of several teams interested in Kenyon Martin, sources told ESPN The Magazine's Chris Broussard.

The New York Knicks, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs are also interested, Broussard reports.

Obviously, Martin is very familiar with the Nets organization and was teammates with Jason Kidd. But the Nets already have five big men: Brook Lopez, Kevin Garnett, Andray Blatche, Reggie Evans and Mason Plumlee. Perhaps they’d look to trade Evans to make room for K-Mart?

• Lawrence Frank could be the highest-paid assistant in NBA history, sources told ESPN NewYork.com's Ian O'Connor. Frank signed a four-year contract worth over $1 million per season. Read the full story here.
