Jason Kidd discusses guilty plea

NEW YORK -- Brooklyn Nets first-year coach Jason Kidd spoke for the first time about his guilty plea on a misdemeanor drunken driving charge.

Kidd was placed on interim probation as a result of the guilty plea.

"I take full responsibility for my accident and you learn from it," Kidd told Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPNNewYork.com after the Nets' news conference to introduce Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Jason Terry.
