EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Jason Terry went through a full practice for the first time as a Net.

Terry had knee surgery following last season and was limited in a few practices. But on Friday, Terry went full.

"I'm happy to be out on the floor practicing," Terry said. "We're on schedule. When we started this process, we said I was going to play the last two preseason games and that's where we are right now."

The Nets play at Boston and Miami next week to finish the preseason.

"I've never had lower extremity injuries in 14 years, so this is all new to me," Terry said. "But it's pushed me. It's made me frustrated at times. We've been at a great pace and now I'm ready to get out here in action with my teammates, not just vocally but I'm in the fight physically."

D-Will still limited: Deron Williams (ankle) went through a limited practice and is still being called "day-to-day."

"It's just a process," Williams said. "[Trainer] Timmy [Walsh] is taking it slow with me. It's not about the first couple games. It's about the end results, man. My plan is to play the 30th [in the regular-season opener]. That's my goal. Hopefully I can get out there before then. I want to get a preseason game in, too. So who knows."

Williams said he did a little more on Friday and will see how he feels on Saturday.

"It's been a slow process," Williams said. "It's been tough for me to adjust to. I've been [impatient with] the training staff and doctors a lot, but they're smart and they know what they're doing and they're doing it for a reason. So I've just got to accept that and kind of roll with it."

Nets notes: The Nets signed 6-7 forward Adonis Thomas, an undrafted rookie out of Memphis ... Tornike Shengelia (knee) was limited. Andrei Kirilenko (back spasms) and Tyshawn Taylor (ankle) were out for practice.
