“His minutes will increase [Friday night],” King told WFAN on Thursday. “By Sunday, he’ll be back to his normal minutes.”
Williams, who was limited to just 10 minutes in the preseason due to a sprained right ankle injury he suffered during an offseason workout in Utah, played 22 minutes in the team’s 98-94 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night. Brooklyn Nets general manager Billy King said point guard Deron Williams will be off of a minutes limit for Sunday’s game against the Orlando Magic.
