WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Paul Pierce is playing against the Washington Wizards despite being under the weather.

Pierce did not feel well on Thursday night and skipped the Friday morning shootaround. Jason Kidd said his veteran forward was a game-time decision but Pierce suited up before the game and is giving it a go.

We will have to see how many minutes Pierce will be able to play tonight. And remember, the Nets return home to face the Pacers on Saturday.
