EAST RUTHERFORD -- Brooklyn Nets point guard Deron Williams (ankle) and small forward Paul Pierce (hand) practiced Monday, the team said.

Williams is expected to return to the lineup Tuesday night against the Boston Celtics after missing the past nine games.

Pierce broke his hand 10 days ago and was expected to miss 2-4 weeks. It is unknown if he'll face his former team Tuesday night.

Forward Andrei Kirilenko (back) and guard Jason Terry (knee) did not practice. Terry was expected to be re-evaluated Monday.
