EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Brooklyn Nets forward Andrei Kirilenko says he’ll talk to trainer Tim Walsh before determining if he can play in Wednesday afternoon’s game against the Chicago Bulls at Barclays Center.

Kirilenko has missed 23 games due to back spams this season and has not played since Nov. 8. In trying to come back, Kirilenko has already had three setbacks and received two epidurals.

“That’s something that we will see, we’ll go through a little workout and see how he feels tomorrow,” Kirilenko said.

If Kirilenko doesn’t play Wednesday, there’s a good possibility he’ll play Friday night against the Milwaukee Bucks.

• Asked about point guard Deron Williams saying he needs to play better, coach Jason Kidd said, “I think he’s getting great looks that were going down early and they’re not going down now so he has to continue to keep being aggressive, setting the table for his teammates and hopefully shots will start going down for him.”

• Asked what he said to his players following Monday night’s loss, Kidd said, “We got to get ready for Chicago. We’ll turn the page and get ready for a noon game.”

• Shooting guard Joe Johnson said the Nets have been developing some “bad habits.”

Asked to clarify that, he said, “Whether it’s hanging our head at times or not getting back on defense sometimes after we make a turnover. You know, whatever the case may be, but when you watch it on film, it’s bad. When you’re out there playing in it, it may not look as bad to you or seem as bad to you, but it’s very glaring things, man, that we definitely have to clean up.”
