Brooklyn Nets point guard Deron Williams is reporting playing with an injury.

Williams confirmed as much to the New York Daily News prior to Thursday night’s game in Oklahoma City.

In his last five games, Williams is averaging just 11.8 points and 5.6 assists. He is shooting a respectable 46 percent from the field, but attempting just 10 shots per game over that stretch.

Williams has already missed 11 games this season due to a sprained left ankle.

Williams has dealt with a litany of injuries since being traded to the Nets in February 2011.

His production has mostly suffered as a result.

The Nets (10-21) have lost six of their last seven games to fall 5 1/2 games back of the surging Toronto Raptors (15-15) in the Atlantic Division.

Williams told reporters after Tuesday’s 21-point loss to the San Antonio Spurs, “I don’t think we are making any trades.”

Guard Tyshawn Taylor (hamstring) is a game-time decision.

Nets coach Jason Kidd said forward Andrei Kirilenko (back) will once again play about 12 minutes in his second game back from injury, according to Newsday.
