ESPN's uniform expert Paul Lukas writes on his Uni-Watch blog that the Brooklyn Nets could one day be wearing alternate jerseys from the Dr. J era with a twist.

During the Dr. J era, the Nets wore red, white and blue jerseys. But in this case, the jerseys would be black and white, just like their regular ones are today.

Lukas writes that these jerseys would be short-sleeved (unlike the photo). His source says nothing is finalized and might never get to that point.

Still, this would be a pretty cool alternate look.
