The Brooklyn Nets continue their West Coast spell Saturday night in Oakland, Calif., when they take on the Golden State Warriors at Oracle Arena. Here’s what we’ll be watching for:

Looking to build: The Nets (25-27 overall, 9-16 away and 15-6 since Jan. 1) got 46 points combined from Joe Johnson (27) and Deron Williams (19) in their Wednesday win at Utah. Johnson (knee) and Williams (ankles) say they are both feeling better, and that’s huge for Brooklyn. Might want to keep an eye out for Paul Pierce, who has been dealing with turf toe, which briefly forced him to the locker room in the third quarter of the Jazz game.

Debut of Thornton? The Nets say Marcus Thornton (food poisoning) is a game-time decision. It’s unknown if he’ll make his Brooklyn debut. Thornton was not at shootaround. The Nets acquired Thornton in a pre-trade-deadline deal with the Sacramento Kings for Jason Terry and Reggie Evans. Speaking of Terry, the Kings announced he will miss the rest of the season. Terry was never fully healthy after undergoing offseason knee surgery.

Heckuva challenge: The Nets beat the Warriors earlier this season, snapping Golden State’s 10-game winning streak on Jan. 8. But, still, the Warriors (33-22, 17-10 home), with all their athleticism, speed and explosive weapons on offense, are going to be tough to top. All-Star Stephen Curry is averaging a team-high 24.4 points per game, while David Lee chips in 19.1.
