NEW YORK -- Deron Williams is playing with a lot of confidence right now.
Health sure is a wonderful thing.
What it means: The Nets (35-31) have won 10 straight games at home.
For now they are two games behind the Toronto Raptors in the Atlantic Division, pending the results of Toronto’s road game in New Orleans.
Williams, who added eight assists, scored seven straight points in the fourth -- turning an 85-82 deficit into an 89-82 lead. He finished with 11 in the final period.
The Nets, who led by as many as 13, got outrebounded 51-39 and went 21-for-35 from the free throw line.
Williams has recorded at least one steal in 16 consecutive games -- continuing the longest active streak in the NBA.
Up next: The Nets have Thursday off, then face the Boston Celtics at home on Friday night.
