The Brooklyn Nets seek to win their 11th consecutive game at Barclays Center when they take on the Boston Celtics on Friday night. Here’s what we’ll be watching for:

Opportunity knocks: The Nets (35-31) could gain some ground with a victory. Brooklyn is two games behind the Chicago Bulls (38-30) for the No. 4 seed in the Eastern Conference and 2 1/2 back of the Toronto Raptors (38-29) for the Atlantic Division lead. Chicago is on the road in Indiana, while Toronto hosts Oklahoma City. That’s what makes this game so important. The Celtics (23-46) beat the Nets in Boston on March 7, so Brooklyn is going to be looking for payback.

D-Will heating up: Deron Williams has scored 53 points in his last two games while shooting 67.5 percent from the field. Rajon Rondo has amassed 29 assists in his last two games. This should be a good another fun point guard matchup.

Retro fit: The Nets will be wearing their blue and grey short-sleeved jerseys for the first time this season.

No KG: Kevin Garnett (back spams) will miss his 11th straight game. The Nets are 8-2 without him.

Of note: Andrei Kirilenko is shooting just 22.7 percent from the free-throw line in March.
