Anderson and the Nets have agreed in principle on a two-year contract worth $2.6 million with a second-year player option, a league source confirmed to ESPNNewYork.com.
The Nets officially announced their signing of Anderson on Tuesday.
Anderson’s agency, Priority Sports, tweeted out the agreement Monday night.
Anderson, 31, averaged 7.2 points and 2.2 rebounds for the Nets last season. He provides depth on the wing and is a solid defender.
Anderson will make $1.27 million this season, and stands to make $1.33 million next season if he exercises his player option.
