Nets officially re-sign Brook Lopez

From a team press release:

The Brooklyn Nets have re-signed center Brook Lopez, Nets General Manager Billy King announced today. Per team policy, terms of the contract were not released.

“Brook Lopez is one of the top young centers in the NBA,” said King. “We have witnessed his growth as a player over the past four years, and are very pleased that he will remain in a Nets uniform as we begin our new era in Brooklyn.”

Lopez, selected 10th overall by the Nets in the 2008 NBA Draft, holds career averages of 17.4 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per games. In 2011-12, Lopez was limited to five games of action due to a broken right foot.
