Boston Celtics guard Jason Terry called him “soft.” Celtics power forward Kevin Garnett said he’s “always out of control.”

But does Brooklyn Nets power forward Kris Humphries care about what they have to say?

“Nah. I don’t care,” Humphries told reporters in Orlando Friday in a video posted on the Nets’ official website. “When a team loses a game, they want to sit there and point fingers. You gotta focus on yourself and what your own team is doing when you lose.”

As for Terry’s “soft” comment?

“That’s their opinion,” Humphries said. “Like I said earlier, Avery Johnson’s not calling us soft, so we don’t have to worry about that.”

Wednesday night’s second-quarter melee escalated after Humphries fouled Garnett as he was shooting a jumper.

“I think he was off balance a little bit when he took the shot, and it was just a foul on the arm. I’m not really focused on that,” Humphries said. “Like I said earlier, that’s old news. We’ve gotta play Orlando tonight.”

Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo received a two-game suspension without pay for fighting with Humphries. Garnett was fined $25,000, while Brooklyn small forward Gerald Wallace was fined $35,000.

Fortunately for Humphries, he didn’t get suspended or docked any pay.

“I didn’t do anything,” Humphries said. “It’s too expensive to hit someone from the NBA. I’m making money now. C’mon man.”
