Rapid Reaction: Nets 113, Kings 93

WHAT IT MEANS: The Brooklyn Nets must enjoy playing for interim coach P.J. Carlesimo.

On Saturday night, they improved to 5-1 under Carlesimo, wrapping up a stretch of six games in nine days with 113-93 blowout victory over the Sacramento Kings at Barclays Center.

The Nets (19-15) have won three straight games, and remain undefeated against sub-.500 teams (12-0). They shot 51.8 percent from the field, outrebound the Kings 51-41 and led by as many as 24.

BIG 3: Deron Williams (15 points, seven assists, six rebounds), Brook Lopez (18 points, five rebounds) and Joe Johnson (15 points) combined for 48 points. They went 11-for-15 from the field in the first half.

WHAT A HALF!The Nets scored 65 points in the first half -- their most points in any half this season. They shot 67.5 percent and got 25 points from their bench. Their Big 3 accounted for 26 points.

FRONTCOURT SUPPORT: Andray Blatche finished with his second straight double-double -- 15 points and 11 rebounds -- while Reggie Evans added seven points and 12 rebounds.

MAR-SWAG:
MarShon Brooks looked like the confident player he was last season, finishing with 15 points on 7-for-11 shooting. Several of Brooks’ baskets were of the "Did he really just do that?!" variety.

FEARZA: Mirza Teletovic scored a season-high 14 points. He ignited an 11-0 second-quarter run with seven of those points, which turned the game into a blowout.

HOT START:
The Nets scored a season-high 36 first-quarter points on 71.4 percent shooting.

THIRD IS THE BAD WORD: The Nets were outscored 25-23 during a third quarter in which they shot 30.4 percent.
