Joe Johnson a game-time decision

2/26/2013

The Brooklyn Nets say shooting guard Joe Johnson is a game-time decision for Tuesday night's game in New Orleans.

Johnson has missed the last two games due to a sore left heel. He returned to practice Monday and said he felt better, but told reporters in New Orleans he'll see how he feels after participating in Tuesday's morning shootaround.

Johnson, 31, is averaging 17 points on 42.3 percent shooting in 38 minutes per game.

The Nets have missed Johnson particularly in the fourth quarter of their past two games, both losses. According to ESPN Stats & Information, Johnson, who has hit three game-winning shots, leads the team with 64 crunch-time points -- defined by points scored in the last five minutes when the scoring margin is within five.

Reserve Jerry Stackhouse is not with the team for personal reasons. Stackhouse has not appeared in a game since Jan. 26.
