EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Brooklyn Nets interim coach P.J. Carlesimo said he plans on playing everyone and starting his usual five -- Deron Williams, Joe Johnson, Gerald Wallace, Reggie Evans and Brook Lopez -- in Wednesday night's regular-season finale against the Detroit Pistons.

Carlesimo is planning on playing his starters about 18 to 24 minutes each.

He wants them to play a real game because it's more beneficial than just practicing. The Nets might not play their first playoff game until Sunday, so it's important for them to get some meaningful minutes now.

Williams, Johnson, Evans, Lopez, Keith Bogans and Jerry Stackhouse all sat out Monday night's game so they could rest.
