Sebastian Telfair, phone home!

NEW YORK -- The Brooklyn Nets are interested in free agents Shaun Livingston and Sebastian Telfair as possibilities to be their backup point guard, sources said.

C.J. Watson, who backed up Deron Williams last season, is close to an agreement with the Indiana Pacers, according to a report from HOOPSWORLD.com.

Watson tweeted from his verified account, “Keep up with the pace!!!!” perhaps in reference to the agreement.

The Cavaliers are interested in re-signing Livingston, who is also garnering interest from a couple other teams besides the Nets, a source said.

Telfair has also received interest from the New York Knicks, Miami Heat and Oklahoma City Thunder, according to HOOPSWORLD.com, which was later re-tweeted by ASM Sports, which represents the Brooklyn native.

If Livingston or Telfair signed with the Nets, it would likely be for the veteran’s minimum.

Other backup point guards on the market include Jamaal Tinsley, Aaron Brooks, Jannero Pargo and Daniel Gibson.

ESPN NewYork.com’s Jared Zwerling contributed to this report.
