Report: Lopez not ruled out for Minnesota
By Ohm Youngmisuk
Nets coach Jason Kidd hasn't ruled the possibility of Brook Lopez (ankle) playing against the Timberwolves Friday.
According to Newsday, Lopez didn't practice but appeared to be moving well. The Nets will see how Lopez is feeling after Friday morning's shootaround in Minnesota.
As for Deron Williams, the point guard may miss the game after rolling his ankle against Charlotte on Wednesday night.
"He's sore," Kidd told reporters at practice in Charlotte, according to a tweet by the New York Post.
Forward Andrei Kirilenko likely is out until next week. Kirilenko said he is still a few days away and hopes to be cleared for contact on Monday, according to Newsday.
The Daily News reported on Wednesday that Kirilenko had an injection to help his ailing back more than a week ago. It sounds as if Kirilenko will miss the game against Minnesota and Sunday's home game against Detroit.
