By Mike Mazzeo
The Brooklyn Nets recalled Tornike Shengelia and Tyshawn Taylor from the NBDL on Monday, the team announced.
In three games for the Springfield Armor this season, Shengelia is averaging 28.3 points, 13.7 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 3.0 steals. He scored a franchise-high tying 39 points and added 18 boards on Jan. 24 against Maine.
Taylor averaged 26.5 points, 7.5 assists and 4.3 rebounds in four D-League games this season.
Shengelia is out indefinitely with concussion-like symptoms.
Interim coach P.J. Carlesimo said that Shengelia isn't anywhere close to returning. Shengelia has yet to start the protocol required to return from a concussion.
