By Mike Mazzeo

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The Brooklyn Nets could end up being significantly short-handed for Tuesday night’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Backup guard MarShon Brooks (sprained right ankle) is questionable, backup point guard C.J. Watson (sprained left ankle) is probable, while backup center Andray Blatche (sickness) and backup guard/forward Jerry Stackhouse (stiff neck) are game-time decisions.

Backup forward Tornike Shengelia (concussion) remains out.
