Joe Johnson doubtful for game in Denver
By Mike Mazzeo
Brooklyn Nets shooting guard Joe Johnson told reporters in Denver that he's doubtful to play in Friday night's game against the Nuggets.
Johnson missed the past two games due to a right quadriceps contusion. He told reporters his quadriceps feel better, but his sore left heel is once again the problem.
Johnson missed four games earlier this season due to the heel injury.
Slowed by injuries, Johnson is averaging just 13.3 points on 42.5 percent shooting in his past 10 games.
Keith Bogans started the previous two games in place of Johnson, and likely will do so again.
