Brook Lopez is playing so well, even a supermodel has taken notice.
Chrissy Teigen, who was sitting next to her fiancé, John Legend, on the court at Barclays Center for Tuesday night’s Nets-Lakers game, tweeted the following:
Brook Lopez I've never heard of you but you're my new favorite person ever you're just enormous

The 7-foot, 280-pound center is currently the only NBA player averaging at least 19 points, seven rebounds and two blocks per game. He ranks fourth in Player Efficiency Rating (PER) behind LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Chris Paul.
And yes, despite being snubbed by the fans and Eastern Conference coaches, Lopez was named to his first All-Star team by NBA commissioner David Stern.
ESPN Insider David Thorpe writes that Lopez has transformed himself into a top-10 player in the league. You can read his excellent piece on Insider here.
One line particularly stood out to me: "Lopez is just 24 (for a few more months) and has a PER that is higher than Tim Duncan ever recorded before he was 25." Wow.
