February, 14, 2011
For the second time this season, St. John's guard Dwight Hardy has been named the Big East Player of the Week.

Hardy was honored this time around for scoring a career-high 33 points in a win over No. 9 UConn on Thursday, and a team-high 18 points in a win at Cincinnati on Sunday.

The 6-foot-2 senior shot 17-for-32 from the field in those two games, and 9-for-15 from 3-point range. He is now averaging 16.6 points per game on the season, to lead the Red Storm.
