Jenkins named First Team All-ECAC

Hofstra senior guard Charles Jenkins was named to the All-Eastern College Athletic Conference Division I first team, it was announced on Tuesday.

Jenkins was joined on the first team by Kemba Walker of UConn, Nolan Smith and Kyle Singler of Duke, and Marshon Brooks of Providence. St. John's senior guard Dwight Hardy was named to the second team.

Jenkins averaged 22.6 points per game this season, ranking him the sixth-best scorer in the country. He finished with 2,513 career points for Hofstra, becoming only the 63rd player in NCAA history to score 2,500 points.
