Kansas State forward Wally Judge has made it official, signing the paperwork to transfer to Rutgers.
The 6-foot-9 forward and former McDonald's High School All-American will have to sit out next season, and will have two years of eligibility remaining when he suits up for the Scarlet Knights starting in the 2012-13 season.
"We are very excited to welcome Wally into our program," said Rutgers coach Mike Rice. "He is a big-time athlete who can put the ball on the floor and also shoot it from 15 to 17 feet. Defensively, he has the ability to guard three positions. We are confident Wally will realize his tremendous potential here at RU."
Judge played in 53 games the past two seasons for Kansas State, starting 17. He averaged 5.5 points and 3.8 rebounds per game last season.
