The pairings for next season's Big East/SEC Challenge were revealed on Thursday, and St. John's has a very juicy matchup to look forward to.

The Red Storm will travel to Lexington, Kentucky to take on John Calipari's Kentucky Wildcats on Thursday, December 1, airing on the ESPN family of networks.

"It is a unique opportunity for St. John's to have a non-conference schedule that includes matchups against three of the most storied programs in the history of college basketball in Kentucky, UCLA and Duke," said St. John's coach Steve Lavin.

Kentucky, which went to the Final Four this past season, has the No. 1 recruiting class in the country coming in. St. John's has the No. 3 class in the country, according to ESPN's rankings.

Seton Hall and Rutgers will both host games in the Challenge -- the Pirates will take on Auburn on Dec. 2, and the Scarlet Knights will play LSU on Dec. 3.
