St. John's and Rutgers would have to play on Day 1, and win five games in five days (as UConn did last year) to win the Big East championship.
The Red Storm, seeded No. 11, would play No. 14 Villanova. The Scarlet Knights, seeded No. 12, would play No. 13 Pittsburgh.
Seton Hall, currently the No. 8 seed, would get a first-round bye and play the winner of No. 9 West Virginia versus No. 16 DePaul.
But a lot can change between now and March 6.
