What NBA team will select Moe Harkless?

June, 27, 2012
Queens native Moe Harkless will have a dream come true on Thursday, when he is selected in the 2012 NBA Draft.

Harkless will almost certainly be taken in the first round, and could very well be a lottery pick. He will become the first St. John's player chosen in the draft since 2001.

ESPN.com draft expert Chad Ford currently projects Harkless to be taken by the Houston Rockets with the 16th overall pick.

Harkless isn't the only local product to keep an eye on Thursday night. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (Kentucky), Doron Lamb (Kentucky), Tyshawn Taylor (Kansas), Scott Machado (Iona) and Kyle O'Quinn (Norfolk State) are among the other metro-area prospects who could hear their names called at the Prudential Center.
