St. John's will host the second annual "Dribble for the Cure" on campus this coming Saturday morning, raising money for pediatric cancer research.

Coach Steve Lavin and the 2012-13 men's basketball team will be participating, as well as legendary former coach Lou Carnesecca and former New York Knick John Starks.

For more information, including how to participate, click here. Participants will have the opportunity to meet and get autographs/photographs with the headliners mentioned above. And of course, they'll be contributing to a great cause.

Lavin and the St. John's players will also speak with the media on Saturday morning -- an unofficial tip-off of the college hoops season.

ESPNNewYork.com will be there -- check the website Saturday afternoon for a full report.
