Here's what to watch for when St. John's (7-3) plays Youngstown State (8-5) on Saturday at Carnesecca Arena.

Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m., and you can watch the game on Fox Sports 1.

ON THE RECORD: With his next 3-point make, D'Angelo Harrison will move past Willie Shaw to become St. John's all-time leader in 3-pointers, with 152.

Harrison is off to a fine start this season, averaging 19 points per game to lead the Red Storm. That being said, he is shooting just 30.4 percent from beyond the arc, down from 36.2 percent as a freshman and 31.5 percent as a sophomore.

D UP: St. John's has held all but two of its opponents to 63 points or less this year, and is ranked 22nd in Division I in field-goal percentage defense. Opposing teams are shooting just 38.0 percent against the Red Storm.

It certainly helps that St. John's continues to lead the nation in blocked shots per game at 9.8 -- nearly two more than any other team in D-I.

The Red Storm held San Francisco, a team averaging over 80 points per game, to 57 on Wednesday night. Let's see if they can keep it up against another high-scoring squad.

THE PENGUINS: Youngstown State was picked to finish fifth in the nine-team Horizon League in the conference's preseason poll. It is coming off a 71-59 home win over Bethune-Cookman on Tuesday, but had lost four of five before that. Three of the team's eight wins are against non-Division I opponents.

The Penguins are led by 6-foot senior guard Kendrick Perry, who averages 21.2 points per game, ranking him 22nd in the country. Perry, the preseason Horizon League Player of the Year, shoots 52.0 percent from the field, and 37.3 percent from 3-point range. He also averages a team-high 4.7 assists and 2.8 steals, ninth in the country.

Youngstown State is 38th in the nation in scoring, averaging 81.4 points per game. It has taken the second-most 3-pointers in D-I (320), and made the fifth-most (109), but is just 183rd in 3-point percentage (33.6). The Penguins are also 13th in assist-to-turnover ratio.
