Notre Dame, Army will use both end zones

NEW YORK -- Unlike the Northwestern-Illinois game at Wrigley Field on Saturday, the Notre Dame-Army game at Yankee Stadium tonight will utilize two end zones.

Notre Dame athletic director Jack Swarbrick was asked at the pregame news conference if he had been worried about the field dimensions here at Yankee Stadium when they set up this game -- he said he was reassured they would be OK.

"[It's] one of the first things you think about -- how tight will it be?" Swarbrick said. "Can we be absolutely certain that we're putting the student-athletes in a safe environment, a safe situation."
