By Kieran Darcy
St. Peter's College (NJ) officially announced on Thursday that it has added Bruce Hamburger as an assistant men's basketball coach under head coach John Dunne.
Hamburger has more than 25 years of coaching experience, in college as well as the WNBA. He was an assistant on P.J. Carleismo's staff at Seton Hall when the Pirates went to the national championship game in 1989. He has also served as an assistant coach with the New York Liberty. He was most recently an assistant coach at Caldwell College.
"We are very lucky to have Bruce [Hamburger] join our staff," said Dunne in a written statement. "His experience at all levels of basketball will be an invaluable resource for the program."
St. Peter's also promoted Marlon Guild to a full-time assistant position, and Dalip Bhatia to an assistant position.
