Some fourth-quarter highlights:

WR Victor Cruz added his second touchdown to start the quarter and continues to make a very strong impression on this coaching staff. And then he caught his third touchdown with 2:24 remaining from Rhett Bomar. Still three preseason games left but Cruz has positioned himself nicely for a roster spot, especially if he does well on special teams.

QB Jim Sorgi took a shot on the second touchdown pass but got up and appears to be OK.

CB D.J. Johnson had an interception Kevin O'Connell on a pass intended deep for David Clowney. Apparently somebody can cover the Clown.

LB Chase Blackburn has a sprained knee according to the team.
