Marc Ross, the Giants director of college scouting, is one of four candidates who will interview for the Chicago Bears' general manager vacancy.

The team received permission to interview Chiefs director of college scouting Phil Emery, Patriots director of pro personnel Jason Licht and Chargers director of player personnel Jimmy Raye.

ESPNChicago.com writes that according to a source with knowledge of the situation, Raye and Ross "are high on [the Bears'] short list."

Ross, who has helped the Giants find gems like Jason Pierre-Paul and Victor Cruz, also has interviewed for the Colts GM vacancy as well.
