Jason Pierre-Paul earned a trip to the Pro Bowl this season, finishing fourth in the NFL with 16.5 sacks.

But if the Giants win Sunday’s NFC Championship Game he won’t be able to go to Hawaii.

“I’m not thinking about Hawaii,” Pierre-Paul said. “I’m just thinking about that Super Bowl.”

But to get there, the Giants have to take care of the 49ers.

“We’ve been ready all week,” Pierre-Paul said. “We’re excited to play this football game and see where it takes us.”

In light of the controversial roughing-the-passer penalty on Osi Umenyiora last Sunday in Green Bay, Pierre-Paul was asked if he and his teammates are confused about the rules on hitting quarterbacks.

“We know what’s legal and what’s not legal,” he said. “That was just a bad call. ... There’s a lot of rules but you’ve gotta play through them.”

Travis Beckum is still Travis Beckum. Although on Friday the Giants backup tight end was putting on a rare comedy routine when asked about the health of Jake Ballard.

Dr. Beckum said he performed a procedure on Ballard’s torn ACL with a butter knife.
