INDIANAPOLIS -- The Giants will arrive fashionably late Monday to Super Bowl XLVI, one day after the Patriots hit town.

There won't be a lot of heavy lifting for Tom Couglin & Co. It'll be a travel day, a day to get settled in their Indianapolis hotel and a day of media obligations.

The Giants are due to land at approximately 2:15 p.m. in Nap Town. From the airport, the team will be transported via police escort to their downtown hotel. (Sidebar: The Giants are staying in the middle of the action, while the Patriots are on the outskirts of the city, near the Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis. In case you're wondering, the league chooses the hotels, not the teams.)

At 4:30, Coughlin is scheduled to meet the media at the team's hotel. After a 20-minute Q & A, QB Eli Manning will take the podium. At the same time, four to six players will be an adjacent area for a 20-minute media session.

And so it begins.
