The Giants re-signed Terrell Thomas before free agency begins at 4 p.m. and also created some more cap space by restructuring David Baas' deal.
The Giants were under the $120.6 million salary cap but they added more space by restructuring Baas' deal from $3 million to $900,000 for this season. The difference is likely converted into a bonus for Baas according to the New York Daily News. The move also reportedly will create $1.575 million in cap space.
