If you have been wondering what Marvin Austin has been up to, the Giants' second-round pick from 2010 recently began lifting weights after rehabbing his torn pectoral muscle that wiped out his rookie season.

And he says he will be ready to participate in offseason training activities with the team which will be important because, remember, last year's rookies did not get the valuable offseason work with their teams due to the lockout.

But when he is not rehabbing or working hard to get back on the field, Austin is spending his free hours working on his other passion -- music. After being out of football for the past two years due to an NCAA scandal at UNC and then his season-ending injury last year, Austin has learned that it's not a bad thing to prepare for life after football. Austin still has a ton of football to play and the Giants probably feel like they almost have an extra first-round pick in camp this season with Austin returning from injury.

But here's a look at Austin and how he has spent some of his time during the past two years out of football.
