Prince gets injection to help foot heal

Prince Amukamara recently had an injection to his foot to help it heal according to the New York Giants.

Last year's first-round pick was reportedly seen at an autograph signing session on crutches and in a walking boot according to The injection procedure was first reported by Newsday. The team said Amukamara had an injection similar to the one Ahmad Bradshaw recently underwent to help improve the healing of his fractured foot. According to, Bradshaw had a Platelet Rich Plasma-type of injection.

The procedures are not considered serious and both players are expected to be ready for camp according to a source. Amukamara broke his foot in training camp last year and the injury cost him the first nine games of the season and almost all of camp.
